Growth-to-exit leadership for technology ventures

Until June 2013, my work was to lead companies to high-ROI exits in alignment with investors, founders and executive teams. My roles were either as advisor or hands-on C-level executive. When required, I stepped in as CEO to grow, turn around, or lead the venture to a successful exit. My sweet spot was for emerging-growth high-technology ventures built around innovative products with game-changing technology and backed by very talented technical teams.

Greenwings Biomedical

In June 2013 I founded and dedicated my attention to Greewnings Biomedical, an incubator looking to translate biomedical inventions and technologies from research projects into successful products as the basis for launching commercial ventures.

Of particular interest are solutions that will significantly improve the cost and quality of healthcare by advancing clinician productivity, clinical decision support, personalized medicine, non-invasive therapy, coordination of care, or patient management and engagement.

About me: Richard Koffler

For 30 years I have been a C-level executive successfully launching and nurturing technology ventures.

I am particularly good at growing the top line, achieving outstanding levels of customer satisfaction, recruiting and mentoring teams, establishing correct product development and management strategies, implementing efficient operations, and quickly getting to the bottom of things.

I am a founding member of the Tech CEO Network, and on the executive committee of the Tech Coast Angels {Los Angeles network}.

I was president of the Los Angeles Venture Association and the Technology Council of Southern California.

I am on the advisory boards of the California Emerging Technology Fund, the Center for Technology Commercialization at the University of Southern California, and the Wells Fargo Center for Small Business and Entrepreneurship at the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge. I'm also on the board of directors of El Centro Latino for Literacy.

I hold computer science degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of California, Berkeley.
