I lead companies to high-ROI exits in alignment with investors, founders and executive teams. I work as either an advisor or a hands-on C-level executive involved in all company matters: sales, marketing, operations, customer service, R&D, back-office, financing, governance. If required, I step in as CEO to grow, turn around, or lead the venture to a successful exit. My sweet spot is for emerging-growth ventures with highly innovative products, ahead-of-its-time technology, and very talented technical and entrepreneurial teams. I prefer venture-capital-backed companies in the metropolitan Los Angeles region. About me: Richard Koffler For 25 years I have been a C-level executive successfully launching and nurturing technology ventures. I am particularly good at growing the top line, achieving outstanding levels of customer satisfaction, recruiting and mentoring teams, establishing correct product development and management strategies, implementing efficient operations, and quickly getting to the bottom of things. I am on the executive committee of the Tech Coast Angels {Los Angeles network}. I was president of the Los Angeles Venture Association and the Technology Council of Southern California. I am on the advisory boards of the California Emerging Technology Fund, the Center for Technology Commercialization at the University of Southern California, and the Wells Fargo Center for Small Business and Entrepreneurship at the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge. I hold computer science degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of California, Berkeley. |
